New Delhi: Delhi is set to get its first govt-owned state guest house, with the expenditure finance committee clearing a Rs 152-crore project to build “Dilli Sadan” in Dwarka Sector 19, according to official documents.The facility will address the absence of a dedicated Delhi govt guest house and provide accommodation for visiting dignitaries, govt officials and other guests attending official engagements in the capital.To come up on nearly 3,900 sqm of land allotted by DDA, the guest house will feature modern amenities while drawing inspiration from Delhi’s architectural heritage. The project is expected to take 18 months to complete after the award of the tender, following three months of pre-construction activities.
