NEW DELHI: On Tuesday morning, the weather department forecast more showers for Delhi, with waterlogging reported in several areas of south and southwest Delhi following the rainfall. The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, which is considered normal for this time of the year. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 35 degrees Celsius. At 8:30 am, the relative humidity was recorded at 83 per cent.According to the IMD, there will be generally cloudy skies with very light to light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms/lightning for the next seven days. The air quality in Delhi remained in the “moderate” category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) standing at 103, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). As per the CPCB classification, an AQI between 0 and 50 is “good”, 51 to 100 “satisfactory”, 101 to 200 “moderate”, 201 to 300 “poor”, 301 to 400 “very poor”, and 401 to 500 “severe.”(With agency inputs)
