NEW DELHI: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta on Thursday announced the approval of the Delhi Startup and Incubation Policy, with a fund allocation of over Rs 500 crore, aimed at providing incubation support to young entrepreneurs and creating more job opportunities, according to the Delhi Chief Minister’s Office.Speaking about support for young entrepreneurs and students, CM Rekha Gupta said, “I would like to tell you that the Delhi government has proposed an investment of Rs 500 crore under its Startup Policy for incubation support to students, which will benefit our youth.”Earlier in the day, while addressing Shaheed Bhagat Singh College’s 60th Foundation Celebration, Gupta highlighted the importance of patriotism and said those who understand the meaning of “Rashtra Devo Bhava” can help take the country forward.“The person who truly understands the meaning of Rashtra Devo Bhava is the one who can take the country forward. When we speak of a Viksit Bharat, and when we see Prime Minister Modi on foreign visits, where thousands of Indians, along with foreign nationals, wait for hours just to catch a glimpse of him, we all feel immense pride in our country. When the Prime Minister does this, all 140 crore Indians feel proud. If each one of us contributes even a little in the same spirit, every Indian will develop deep affection for this motherland, and everyone will come together to help build the nation,” CM said.Gupta also highlighted the need to strengthen education opportunities in Delhi and said the government was working towards developing the national capital as an education hub.
