NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday in northeast Delhi’s Subhash Vihar.The victim, identified as Mohammad Asif, a resident of Subhash Mohalla, was found critically injured near a temple in Subhash Vihar, North Gonda.Police said they received information about the stabbing following which a team from Bhajanpura police station rushed to the spot. By the time officers arrived, Asif had already been taken to JPC Hospital by his family. He later succumbed to his injuries during treatment.A forensic team inspected the crime scene and collected evidence, while the body has been sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination.A case has been registered under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Bhajanpura police station. Multiple teams have been deployed to identify and apprehend the accused, police added.“I am not aware of the entire incident. He might have gotten into conflict, the killers might be someone in his known. He was stabbed. He was lying near the temple and we got to know after the children here saw him,” said father of the deceased victim.
