Ara: A 24-year-old dairy farmer, Raja Babu Albela, was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his cattle shed at Jadopur village under Tiyar police station area in Bhojpur district on Saturday morning. Police suspect that an old land dispute involving his family may have led to the killing.Family members alleged that Raja Babu’s body bore deep cuts and injury marks on his neck, legs and other parts of the body, and claimed that he was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon.The deceased’s father, Harinarayan Singh, said, “My son went to sleep in the cattle shed on Friday night after dinner. When he did not open the door on Saturday morning, we grew suspicious and broke it open, only to find him lying dead inside.”Jagdishpur DSP Pankaj Mishra, Tiyar SHO Rajiv Ranjan and other police personnel rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.SDPO Pankaj Mishra said, “Prima facie, an old land dispute involving the deceased’s family appears to be the reason behind the incident. However, the investigation is being conducted from all possible angles. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. The exact cause of death can be ascertained only after the autopsy report is received.”
