Kolkata: Mysuru-based NR Group, the maker of Cycle Pure Agarbathi, is looking to partner with more Durga Puja pandals across Kolkata and its suburbs this year. The brand was a usual sight across hoardings at puja pandals in the city, but has seen a reduction in brand presence since Covid. That is set to change. The company is also exploring the possibility of setting up a manufacturing unit in Bengal to strengthen its presence in the eastern market.MD Arjun Ranga said, “We are looking at ideas to associate with different pandals during Durga Puja and Kali Puja and reach out to puja organisers with our incense sticks and products like coconut husk, dhuna and camphor oil. We are targeting around 50 pandals in the city and suburbs.”“At present, around 150 women across Bengal make incense sticks for our company. We are planning a new manufacturing plant in Bengal,” Ranga said.
