Times News NetworkKanpur: Additional district and sessions judge Mukesh Kumar Singh on Wednesday dismissed the anticipatory bail application of accused Shashi Srivastava who has been charged for cheating, forgery and fabrication of documents.The judge in his order observed that the accused had cheated her real brothers and sisters with the help of co-accused Virendra Kumar Srivastava. She had been charged for not giving complete details of her all brothers and sisters during the mutation of a plot before Kanpur Development Authority and mutated the plot in her name and co-accused Virendra Kumar Srivastava. The FIR was lodged by a special officer in-charge of KDA alleging that the accused had mutated the plot on the basis of forged documents and thus had cheated her real brothers and sister by making forged documents.The court observed that the charges levelled against the accused-applicant were of serious nature and were punishable with life imprisonment. In view of facts and circumstances, without making any comment on the merits of the case her bail application was being dismissed as there was no sufficient ground for bail.
