Patna: A local court in Patna on Thursday deferred the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, in connection with the June 2 firing incident under the Kadamkuan police station.The court adjourned the matter till June 27. Khan will continue to enjoy protection from arrest as the interim relief granted earlier remains in force until the next hearing.Khan had approached the court seeking pre-arrest bail in the case. A sessions court had granted him interim protection on June 9 and stayed his arrest pending further consideration of the matter.The case is linked to an alleged firing incident that took place within the Kadamkuan police station area on June 2.The controversy erupted after a firing incident and alleged vandalism outside Khan Global Studies on June 2. Police later arrested two security guards associated with the institute and named Khan in the case.
