Navi Mumbai: A 25-year-old woman who was arrested by Karjat police two weeks ago for abducting and robbing a 61-year-old Nagpur man she befriended on Facebook of Rs 2.5 lakh under the pretext of a meeting allegedly targeted three other victims using the same modus operandi.Umesh Patil, Karjat police inspector, said after reports of Aditi Dhoke’s arrest emerged, a 35-year-old Pune man and two others from Karjat approached police. The Pune resident, Pankaj Dhadge, whose FIR was filed on Monday, said Dhoke befriended him on Facebook and kept pushing him to meet her. He took a train for Mumbai on Dec 29 last year and got down at Karjat to meet her. Dhoke drove him around in a car and two of her accomplices robbed him of Rs 35,000. Dhadge was later ditched on a road.Dhoke was held along with an aide, Sushil Jadhav, on March 11. Two other accomplices are still on the run. —George Mendonca
