Ranchi: The Ranchi Mahanagar Committee of Congress on Saturday held a meeting with all functionaries and party wings to chalk out modalities ahead of the claims and objections process of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls scheduled from Aug 5 to Sept 4.The party has directed all its workers and booth-level agents (BLAs) to remain present at their respective booths to help voters during the process.Jyoti Singh Matharu, an in-charge of SIR-related work at the party level, while chairing the meeting, outlined the road map for the coming weeks. “Workers must remain present at their respective booths and extend all possible support to voters during the SIR exercise,” he said, asking NSUI cadres to constitute committees in colleges across Ranchi.
