Chandigarh: AICC observer and Congress Working Committee member Jagdish Thakor will hold week-long consultations with party leaders and workers in Chandigarh under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan. Feedback gathered during the exercise will be submitted to the party high command along with recommendations for district-level appointments. Thakor said new district presidents are likely to be announced later this month, though some incumbents may be retained. He also invited RWAs, NGOs and other organisations to participate in discussions on strengthening democratic institutions.
