Ahmedabad: The state unit of Congress held ‘Chhatron Ki Gunj’, a protest rally and dharna in the city on Monday, with state party chief Amit Chavda demanding the resignation of Union home minister Amit Shah for the lathi charge and teargas shelling on students in Delhi during the recent protest against the NEET paper leak.Party workers and leaders marched from Nehru Bridge to Sardar Baug, where a dharna was held. “Instead of holding a dialogue with students, the govt lathi-charged them indiscriminately and tergas shells were used against them. Union home minister Amit Shah must resign,” Chavda demanded.
