Kolkata: A complaint was filed against Tapas Roy, the BJP candidate from Maniktala in North Kolkata, for allegedly entering a housing complex by force to campaign. Residents of two housing complexes in Ward 31 reportedly filed complaints against Roy at the Phoolbagan Police Station. They alleged that Roy entered the premises with his entourage without permission to conduct election campaigning and threatened the guards when they tried to stop him. However, Roy denied all allegations.
