Music, fashion and festivities marked the beginning of the new academic session at a private college in the city, where the incoming PGDM batch of 2026-28 was welcomed at the annual freshers’ party titled Aarambh 26. Held under the theme All That Glitters, the event celebrated new beginnings and inspired students to step into campus life with confidence.

The event was held in the presence of Dr Sushma Vishnani, Director of the college, and Dr Rashmi Chaudhary, Dean, Student Affairs, who welcomed the students and wished them success in their academic journey. Welcoming the freshers, Dr Sushma said, “Just like this theme says, may you all shine and glitter through every chapter of your journey here.”

The event also featured a series of personality titles where Anshika Singh and Utkarsh Singh won the Best Dressed title. Harsh Gupta and Shriya Trivedi were crowned Mr Charming and Miss Elegant, respectively. The coveted titles of Mr Fresher and Miss Fresher were won by Ayush Singh and Shalini Singh. — Amina Ashraf
