Coimbatore: Coimbatore district collector Pavankumar G Giriyappanavar and Coimbatore corporation commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran on Monday released the final electoral rolls at the district collectorate in the presence of representatives from several political parties.Coimbatore district has 26,96,813 voters, including 13,00,889 male voters, 13,95,396 female voters, and 528 third gender voters. While the district has 154 voters aged between 100 and 109, there are two voters aged between 110 and 119, and two voters above 120 years. The Election Commission carried out the SIR (special intensive revision) from November 4 to December 14, 2025, and released the draft electoral roll on December 19. The EC gave time to the people to add or remove their names and make corrections in the electoral roll until January 30, 2026. The district had 32,25,198 voters as of October 27, 2025, before the implementation of SIR. After the implementation of SIR, a draft electoral roll was released on December 19, and the district had 25,74,608 voters. As per the details available with the EC, Coimbatore district has 26,96,813 voters as of February 23, 2026. Before the SIR, the district had 3,117 polling stations. After implementing the SIR, the number of polling stations increased to 3,563. Coimbatore district has 10 assembly constituencies – Coimbatore South, Coimbatore North, Kavundampalayam, Mettupalayam, Singanallur, Sulur, Thondamuthur, Kinathukadavu, Pollachi and Valparai (reserved). Pavankumar Giriyappanavar said that people can add or remove their names and make corrections in the electoral roll through http://voters.eci.gov.in website and the Voter Helpline mobile applications. Tirupur district has 19,55,283 voters, including 9,44,178 male, 10,10,853 female and 252 third gender voters. The district has 2,822 polling stations. Tirupur district collector Dr Narnaware Manish Shankarrao released the electoral rolls. Nilgiris district collector Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru released the final electoral rolls at the district collectorate in Udhagamandalam on Monday. The district has 5,47,133 voters, including 2,61,317 male voters, 2,85,791 female voters, and 25 third gender voters. The Nilgiris district has Udhagamandalam, Gudalur (reserved), and Coonoor assembly constituencies. In the state, Sholinganallur constituency, which falls under Chengalpet district, had the highest number of voters at 5.36 lakh, with 2.62 lakh men and 2.74 lakh women, followed by Avadi in Tiruvallur with 4.28 lakh voters, including 2.09 lakh men and 2.19 lakh women voters. People can also download their booth slip from the website. New voters may also apply for Form 6, and their names will be included in the next draft electoral roll after the elections.
