Focusing on strengthening higher education, competitive exam preparation, and youth infrastructure, state govt in its highlight has announced a provision of Rs 38 crore under Chhattisgarh Assistance for Competitive Exams (CG ACE) scheme, offering coaching support through Udaan (NEET, JEE, CLAT), Shikhar (UPSC, CGPSC), and Manzil (Railway, Banking, SSC). To boost higher education, Rs 731 crore has been allocated as grants for state universities, along with Rs 25 crore for constructing 25 new college buildings. Major investments have also been earmarked for technical institutes, ITIs, innovation centres, IIIT Raipur, and Centres of Excellence in select government colleges.
Significant investments are planned for technical and digital infrastructure including Rs 38 crore has been sanctioned for new Chhattisgarh Institute of Technology (CGIT) centres in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Kawardha, Raigarh, Jashpur, and Jagdalpur, Rs 50 crore is set aside for upgrading the infrastructure of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnic colleges, Rs 35 crore is allocated for the 36 Inc CG Innovation Centre and the STPI Centre of Excellence, Rs 20 crore is provided for infrastructure development at the International Institute of Information Technology.
