Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary and deputy CM Vijay Kumar Choudhary will visit different panchayats on Tuesday, the first day of the ‘Sahyog camps’ being organised to quickly address public grievances at people’s doorsteps.Speaking at a programme at Gandhi Maidan here on Monday, the CM said he would visit a panchayat in Sonepur under Saran district while deputy CM Vijay will oversee the Sahyog camps in three blocks of Patna district on Tuesday.At the camps starting Tuesday, nodal officers from various govt departments will review received applications and provide prompt resolutions. If any hurdles arise in disposing of public grievances, the officials concerned must provide the applicant with written notification specifying a subsequent date by which the issue will be resolved.Samrat reiterated that officials who do not pass even an interim order on a complaint within 30 days will automatically be suspended on the 31st day by the CMO, which will monitor every complaint filed on the Sahyog portal and in camps to be organised in panchayats on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. He also said there would be no compromise with crime.CM Samrat had made it clear on May 11 that every file must be disposed of within 30 days. “Failure to do so would result in the suspension of the official concerned on the 31st day. The CM had launched the ‘Sahyog Portal’ and the ‘Sahyog Helpline’ number, 1100.The process for submitting applications regarding public grievances will commence 30 days prior to the scheduled camp date. Applications may also be submitted on the day of the camp itself. As per the established targets, the departments concerned are required to resolve public grievances within 30 days. If any delay occurs for any reason, written notification to this effect must be provided to the complainant upon their arrival at the camp. Applications received from the public will be monitored in real-time at the CM Secretariat level through a dedicated monitoring system.A letter issued by the cabinet secretariat department stated that the participation of the ministers-in-charge is expected on the first day of the ‘Sahyog Shivir’ (camps).Patna DM has constituted a ‘Sahyog Cell’ where 57 nodal officers are deputed. On the first day, camps will be organised across 40 panchayats under various blocks of Patna.The Sahyog camps will address and resolve issues related to rations, pensions, housing, MGNREGA, land disputes, mutation, land demarcation, caste certificates, income certificates, domicile certificates, electricity, water supply, roads, education, and health services. Additionally, citizens will be able to submit any grievances, suggestions, or feedback regarding any govt scheme during these camps.
