Buxar: Chief minister Samrat Choudhary is scheduled to visit Buxar on Sept 23 on the occasion of Vaman Dwadashi and celebrations marking the birth of Lord Vaman.According to Buxar BJP MLA Anand Mishra, Choudhary is scheduled to participate in the religious programme and the rath yatra. He is also expected to visit the BJP district office at Ahirauli and interact with mandal-level party workers.The celebrations have added significance this year following the state cabinet’s decision to separate the ancient Lord Vaman temple from the Buxar Central Jail premises. The govt approved the segregation of 1.90 acres of land for the temple, along with construction of a separate boundary wall and arrangements to facilitate access for devotees.A rath yatra of Lord Vaman is scheduled for Sept 23. It is expected to begin from Rameshwar Nath Temple at Ramrekha Ghat and proceed through the city towards the Vaman temple. Organisers have launched a public outreach campaign ahead of the procession.
