Shimla, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday inspected the under-construction buildings of the Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School and the Sports Hostel at Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
During the visit, he directed officials to expedite the construction work and ensure the timely completion of the projects. He said that an additional Rs 10 crore will be released to the Public Works Department in this regard.
Furthermore, he announced Rs 2 crore for the construction of a Balika Ashram on the land identified within the school premises. The chief minister also announced Rs 2 crore for the construction of a Sainik Rest House.
He stressed maintaining high construction quality and instructed officials to accelerate the work on the Sports Hostel as well.
