CM Samrat Choudhary at the SSVASS National Gems and Jewellery Exhibition in Patna on Sunday

Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary on Sunday assured jewellery exhibitors of all necessary support for the smooth conduct of the three-day SSVASS National Gems and Jewellery Exhibition, inaugurated at Gyan Bhavan, where around 200 manufacturers from across the country are showcasing their products.After inaugurating the event, Samrat visited the stalls, interacted with participants and reviewed the ornaments and other jewellery products on display.Organised by the Swarnkar Samaj Vikas Evam Shodh Sansthan, the exhibition is being held at the convention hall of Gyan Bhavan and will continue till Sept 1. Jewellery manufacturers associated with the Swarankar Samaj Vikas Avam Shodh Sansthan (SSVASS) have set up stalls displaying products from across the country.According to a communiqué issued by the chief minister’s office, Samrat assured the exhibitors of all necessary support for the smooth conduct of the event.Manufacturers and traders from Kota, Agra, Surat, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata and several other cities are participating in the exhibition.Organisers said the exhibition aims to provide a platform for jewellery manufacturers and traders to showcase their products, network with industry stakeholders, exchange experiences and explore business opportunities.Members of the SSVASS felicitated the CM during the programme with a bouquet and an angavastram.MLA Rana Randhir Singh, office-bearers of the Sansthan, participating manufacturers and members of the jewellery trade attended the inaugural ceremony.
