Varanasi: A clinical microbiology laboratory and the Nucleus (study room) at the trauma centre of Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS),BHU were inaugurated by BHU VC Prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi on Monday. The VC said that the clinical microbiology laboratory will promote accurate and rapid diagnosis of diseases, while the study room named Nucleus will prove to be a strong centre for study and academic activities for students, resident doctors, and faculty members.Trauma centre professor in-charge Prof Saurabh Singh said that these new facilities will make a significant contribution in further improving the quality of health services.
