Kanpur: A 14-year-old Class 8 student died after her neck reportedly became entangled in a makeshift swing while she was playing with her three-year-old brother at their home in Rajeev Vihar, Kanpur, on Saturday evening.Arushi Tripathi, a student of UP Kirana School, was found unconscious by her mother, Niharika.. Family members rushed her to hospital, but she could not be saved.Naubasta inspector Bahadur Singh said the family told police that Arushi died after the saree used as a swing tightened around her neck while she was playing. Police and a forensic team inspected the scene before her body was sent for postmortem examination.
