CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and co-convenors Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das will be produced before the magistrate, according to the outfit’s legal head, who said a Delhi Police official informed him of the development on Sunday morning.
The legal head said he would be present at the police station along with other advocates representing the organisation.
The development comes a day after the CJP raised concerns over the whereabouts of the three leaders, alleging that authorities had failed to disclose their location or provide information to their families and lawyers following their detention.
Dipke, Ranka and Das were detained by Delhi Police inside an aircraft after arriving in New Delhi from Mumbai on Saturday morning, according to the organisation.
The CJP had demanded their immediate release, disclosure of their whereabouts and access to legal representation, alleging that no information had been provided even 12 hours after their detention.
