T’puram: Students of city and suburb schools performed exceedingly well in the CBSE Class X examination, results of which were announced in New Delhi on Wednesday.St Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, bagged 100% pass in SSE (Class X) 2026. Out of 265 students who appeared for the exam, 221 secured distinctions, 41 secured first class and three second class. Seventy percent of students scored 95% and above. Diya Mary George (99.4%), Madhav S Nambiar (99.2%) and Swathi Kiran (99%) are school first, second and third. At Jyothis Central School, Kazhakkoottam, 74 of the total 207 students who appeared for the exam scored 90% and above. Thirty-eight students got 95% plus score. Madhav Jayan, Sreepriya Rajesh and Helen T Baijumon jointly secured the first rank, scoring 498 marks (99.6%) each. At St Mary’s Central School, 97 students got distinction marks. A total of 110 students appeared for the exam. Karthika Sajeev, who scored 495 (99%), is school topper. At Cordova Public School, 41 students got distinction and 41 got first class and 17 others got second class. Karthil Sreebudhan (94.2%) and Muhammed Musammil (92.6%) are school toppers. Christ Nagar Central School, Kowdiar, also achieved a 100% pass rate in the CBSE Class X exams. Anna Maryam from the school secured the second rank nationally and the first rank in the district with a score of 99.8%. She achieved this remarkable feat by scoring 499 out of 500 marks. Malavika A S and Charu Manav secured second and third positions in the school with scores of 497 and 495, respectively. Out of 163 students who took the exam, 153 achieved distinction and 10 secured first class. A total of 101 students scored above 90%.
