Bhubaneswar: Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Wednesday declared the results of the Annual Instant and Annual Improvement Higher Secondary Examinations 2026, conducted for students of humanities, commerce, science and vocational streams.A total of 4,525 candidates appeared for the examinations, including 1,741 under the Instant Examination and 2,784 under the Improvement Examination.In the Instant examination, the overall pass percentage for humanities stood at 86.7, while it was 81.63 for commerce and 69.74 for science stream. Likewise, 94.12% students passed the Instant exam in vocational stream.Controller of exams Prasanta Kumar Parida said the marks secured by students who appeared for the Improvement examination will be automatically updated in their online records. The written examinations were held on July 3 and 4 at 32 examination centres across the state.Candidates can access their results through the official portal, results.odisha.gov.in, by entering their roll and registration numbers. Digital marksheets became available for download from 5 pm on Wednesday. The results have also been uploaded to the SAMS e-Space of all higher secondary schools. The council informed that the digital marksheets and certificates will also be made available through DigiLocker, while hard copies of the certificates and marksheets will be distributed to students through their respective higher secondary schools by Aug 15.
