Alwar: The body of a 9-year-old boy was recovered Thursday night from a well in Bharatpur’s Malah village that falls under the Sewar police station area. The child left home around 5 pm Thursday to play, but did not return till late evening. His family members began searching for him and later informed other villagers who joined them in the search.After searching for five hours, they reached a well about 3 km away from the village around 11 pm. On looking into the well, the child, identified as Gudda, 9, was found inside. The villagers pulled out the body and went to RBM Hospital, where it was kept in the mortuary. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem Friday morning.Malah village resident Ravikant told TOI that Gudda was his elder son and studied in third class. The family has demanded a police probe in the matter.
