CHENNAI: Dr S M Balaji, director and craniofacial surgeon at Balaji Dental and Craniofacial Hospital in Chennai, attended the 50th Independence Day celebrations of Seychelles as an official invitee of the Seychelles govt.Prime minister Narendra Modi, who was the chief guest at the event, met Dr Balaji during a visit to the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens after he was introduced by Patrick Herminie. Balaji has been working with Seychelles’ public healthcare system since 1999, providing craniofacial, maxillofacial and reconstructive surgeries and training local doctors.
