Kanpur: Kanpur Police have filed a 200-page chargesheet against Shivam Mishra, son of a businessman, who left six people injured while speeding his Lamborghini in the city on Feb 8 this year.The chargesheet mentions CCTVs camera footage and statements of 10 witnesses, with police claiming that Shivam was at the wheels. The accident occurred near Bhairavghat Crossing on VIP Road.Shivam, son of tobacco businessman KK Mishra, had first rammed an auto and a motorcycle parked on the roadside before mounting the footpath.Angry passersby had broken the car’s window and dragged Shivam out.One of the injured persons, Taufiq, had filed a case against Shivam with Kanpur police on Feb 9. Subsequently, Shivam’s driver Mohan Lal submitted an application in court seeking surrender, claiming he was driving the car. Police, however, stated in their report that Shivam was driving the car.After finding negligence on the part of then station in charge Santosh Gaur in the matter, police commissioner Raghubir Lal suspended him. Police arrested Shivam on Feb 12 and produced him in court which granted him bail.DCP Central Atul Kumar Srivastava confirmed that the chargesheet had been filed in the case.
