Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy as the state chairperson of the Media and Publicity department of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) with immediate effect.In a press release issued by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal on Aug 6, the party said the appointment was approved by the Congress president. As head of the Media and Publicity department, Reddy is expected to oversee the party’s engagement with the media, public communication campaigns and dissemination of the govt’s and party’s initiatives.The appointment comes as the Congress continues to strengthen its organisational structure in Telangana and streamline its media strategy.
