Officers of the Kolkata Police reportedly removed a CCTV monitor from the residence of Abhishek Banerjee, while a large police force was deployed outside the premises. Earlier, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation issued a notice to the property regarding its building sanction plan, seeking details after alleging that a portion of the structure may have been constructed without proper authorization. Several police personnel, including officers in plain clothes and uniform, visited TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s residence on Monday afternoon. A monitor was later seen being taken away in a white vehicle. The purpose and destination remain unclear.
