Kolkata: The CBI’s newly formed investigation team on Tuesday submitted its 13th status report in the RG Kar Hospital rape-murder case before the Sealdah court.The CBI’s lawyer told the court that investigators had examined various documents, CCTV footage, medical reports and forensic reports. The agency’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) also visited the crematorium where the victim was cremated.The CBI lawyer informed the court that investigators had examined the issues raised by the victim’s family. However, the investigation into some aspects of the case is still pending. Amartya De, lawyer of the victim’s parents, told the court that the role of several other persons involved in the case needs to be probed.The victim’s father said, “We are not particularly happy. However, the current CBI investigation team is speaking to us and has conducted an investigation.”The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov 20.
