Chennai: A 28-year-old man escaped from Tiruttani police station on Friday after being arrested in connection with a dispute with a local trader. Police launched a search operation to trace him and initiated an inquiry.Police identified the escaped detainee as Hari, 28. He and Ravi, 33, a sweet vendor from Amrithapuram, were arrested after they were involved in a quarrel over a land dispute on Friday.Tiruttani police brought both men to the police station. Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway posted its highest-ever monthly revenue of Rs 763 crore in July, aided by strong growth in freight operations, passenger earnings, parcel services and other commercial activities, railway officials said.Freight remained the largest revenue contributor, earning Rs 584.5 crore during the month, a 5.6% increase compared to July last year. Passenger revenue stood at Rs 147 crore, while earnings from other coaching services rose 32% to Rs 22 crore.
