Bengaluru: Police have arrested 12 people for allegedly leading a violent mob attack on a private factory in Doddaballapur, where 30 to 40 armed men stormed the premises, assaulted employees with knives, longs, maces and wooden sticks, vandalised property, and allegedly threatened workers in what police are investigating as a case of moral policing. Hyderabad: The Outer Ring Road (ORR) is set to undergo a comprehensive road safety audit aimed at identifying accident-prone locations, improving road infrastructure and reducing crashes across the 158-km expressway.According to a request for proposal (RFP) document, issued by HGCL, a part of HMDA, the appointed road safety consultant would have to carry out safety audits at four stages, immediately after appointment, after six months, at the end of the second year and after three years. Ahmedabad: Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL) has increased the retail price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 4 per kg in Gujarat, taking the rate from Rs 90.02 to Rs 94.02 per kg with effect from Aug 1. This is the second CNG price hike by the company in less than two weeks.ATGL had earlier raised the price by Rs 2 per kg on July 19, when the rate increased from Rs 88.02 to Rs 90.02 per kg.
