Ranchi: Police have registered a case against Alim Ansari for allegedly abusing PM Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath in a social media video and threatening Ranchi MLA Navin Jaiswal.The FIR was lodged at Nagri police station in Ranchi district under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita following a complaint filed by BJP functionary Ritesh Raj Mahto. T’puram: Acting on a tip-off, the district anti-narcotic special action force (Dansaf) conducted a raid and arrested two people with MDMA at Neeruvila in Manamboor on Saturday.The accused were identified as Mohammed Shan, 33, of Maruthikunnu in Navaikulam, and Tasleena, 24, of Kollakkadavu in Chengannur.During the search, the Dansaf team allegedly recovered around 5g of MDMA from the house. The KSRTC bus involved in accident Bengaluru: An 86-year-old man was killed after being knocked down by a KSRTC bus, which was allegedly speeding, in front of the RMC Yard police station on Tumakuru Road Sunday morning.The deceased, Doreswamy of Malleswaram, was crossing the road when the bus (KA-13-F-2362), bound for Hassan district, hit him.
