Rajkot: A 42-year-old businessman, Ghanshyamsinh Vaghela, was allegedly stabbed to death in Rajkot on Saturday evening. Police suspect the attack was linked to a two-year-old attempted murder case pending in court.According to police, Ghanshyamsinh was attacked around 6:30pm while travelling from Jalaram Chowk towards Bhaktinagar Circle. Thiruvananthapuram: The state received Rs 6.4 crore under the combined Project Tiger and Project Elephant scheme in 2025-26, up from the Rs 2.21 crore allotted the previous year to protect the habitats of these animals.
