Patna: The Bihar govt is set to launch a statewide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from Aug 9 to 17 to mark the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’. Chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit has instructed all district magistrates to ensure maximum public participation and ensure that national flags are displayed at every household located along international borders. Ranchi: A 16-year-old girl from West Singhbhum, trafficked six years ago, was rescued in Delhi in a joint operation by Chaibasa police, Delhi Police and Mission Mukti Foundation.Lured to Delhi for domestic work, she was later sold in Mumbai for Rs 1 lakh and forced into marriage, in which she faced persistent abuse. Traffickers allegedly changed her age on her Aadhaar card to hide her minor status.
