Begusarai: A 35-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband at Korai village under Garhpura police station area of Begusarai district on Thursday. The victim, identified as Gayatri Devi, died on the spot after her throat was slit with a sharp knife. Wardha: Talegaon police seized illegal scented tobacco worth over approximately Rs 9 lakh during regular checking on national highway no. 6. Police said a four-wheeler was intercepted and during the search, a large quantity of scented tobacco of various companies was found inside the vehicle. The police seized the vehicle along with the tobacco stock.A case was registered against two persons from Amravati district under various sections.
