T’puram: A 56-year-old man was killed after a KSRTC bus rammed into his vehicle at Venjaramoodu on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was Jayachandran, a native of Konchira at Vempayam. The accident occurred at Koppam around 4.30pm.Police said Jayachandran was travelling towards Vempayam when the KSRTC bus, heading from the opposite direction towards Venjaramoodu, collided with his scooter. Navi Mumbai: The Anti-narcotics cell (ANC) team of the Navi Mumbai crime branch succeeded in arresting a drugs supplier from Amritsar, Punjab, who was transporting heroin and opium to Navi Mumbai through drug peddlers by road transport. NEW DELHI: A couple was found dead on railway tracks near southwest Delhi’s Palam on Thursday. Initial probe suggest it may be a case of suicide.
