Ed Entrance Examination 2026 held at 19 centres across the city on Sunday.The examination was conducted at these centres in two shifts under CCTV surveillance. Each shift had around 9168 examinees. Body found in Purnia: A 35-year-old woman, Renu Devi, was found dead with her throat slit in a makhana field in Purnia’s K Nagar area on Sunday. A blood-stained knife and other items were recovered from the spot. Villagers suspected sexual assault, but police said the postmortem and forensic reports would establish the circumstances under which she died. Sadar SDPO-II Gaurav Kumar said, “The body was sent to GMCH Purnia for postmortem.
