Bengaluru: Customs officials arrested a passenger at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) Sunday for attempting to illegally smuggle foreign currency and diamonds out of the country.The interception occurred during routine checks, when officers noticed suspicious concealment. On examination, the passenger was found carrying foreign currency worth $18,500 and diamonds weighing approximately 1,135 carats. Hyderabad: Following eight confirmed cattle kills by a tiger across various parts of the state, the Telangana forest department has intensified monitoring to track the big cat.
