Silchar: A 34-year-old temporary power worker died on Monday after falling from an electricity pole while carrying out repair work at Badarpurghat in Sribhumi district.The deceased was identified as Ajay Kumar Pandit, also known as Sachin, a resident of Hill Colony in Badarpur. He was employed as a temporary lineman under APDCL’s Badarpur sub-divisional office.According to sources, Pandit was repairing an electricity line at Badarpurghat when he fell from the pole.
