Kanpur: A 32-year-old health department employee posted as an eye examination officer at the Community Health Centre in Sarvankheda died during treatment after allegedly consuming poison outside his house in Kalyanpur following a dispute with his wife on Tuesday evening. The deceased, Aseem Katiyar, was admitted in a critical condition to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital, where he died at around 2.30 am on Wednesday.Following the incident, family members accused his wife, son and mother-in-law of mentally harassing him.
