BENGALURU: Miscreants left behind a note claiming a bomb inside the washroom of an IndiGo flight bound for Ahmedabad from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Thursday night. According to a complaint filed by the airline’s security manager, the handwritten chit read: “Don’t go Bomb Hai Please.” Security agencies carried out a search of the aircraft for over two hours, following which police declared it a hoax. Ahmedabad: After identifying thousands of unsafe private buildings over the past two years, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has now turned its focus to its own ageing housing stock, with plans to redevelop more than 10,600 dilapidated residential units across the city.A pre-monsoon structural survey of AMC-owned residential buildings, including schemes for housing urban poor, staff quarters, slum quarters and health quarters, found 10,632 units spread across 445 blocks in 42 residential buildings to be unsafe. GURGAON: A suspected cattle smuggler was injured in an exchange of fire with Nuh police in the Rawli Bandh area of Ferozepur Jhirka on Thursday after he allegedly opened fire at a police team during an operation.
