Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday deferred the hearing on TMC’s plea challenging the freezing of three of its bank accounts to Thursday, instead of Wednesday.When the party’s counsel requested that the matter be taken up on Tuesday itself, Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya declined the plea, remarking, “Come back the day after tomorrow, heaven will not fall.”Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta, appearing before the court, sought a day’s accommodation citing personal reasons.
