Lucknow: UP cabinet approved construction of bus stations at three locations in the state and sanctioned proposal to transfer and mutate land belonging to revenue department to the transport department, free of cost, for construction of bus stations in Shohratgarh and Barhni (within the Shohratgarh assembly constituency of Siddharthnagar district) and in the Sawayajpur tehsil of Hardoi district.Minister of state (independent charge) for transport, Dayashankar Singh, said improved transport facilities would foster social development, raise living standards, and boost tourism. This infrastructure development will enhance the road network and alleviate traffic-related issues.The construction of these bus stations will generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for people in the surrounding areas. The project is expected to drive regional economic growth, increase trade and employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
