Biharsharif: Bihar Sports University (BSU) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for the 2026–27 academic session to May 15, the Nalanda district public relations office (DPRO) said on Wednesday. The online application process had commenced on April 8, 2026.The extension applies to admissions in Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES), Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC), and Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management (PGDSM). BPES is a four-year programme with 50 seats, while PGDSC (100 seats across disciplines) and PGDSM (20 seats) are one-year courses.The university said the PGDSC programme is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and is equivalent to courses offered by institutions such as Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports and Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education.Candidates can apply online through the university website. Those appearing for qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of the required certificates within the stipulated time.
