Dhanbad: The district police on Monday received 40 modern vehicles from the state govt. Deputy commissioner (DC) Aditya Ranjan and SSP Prabhat Kumar flagged the vehicles off from the police lines.The newly inducted vehicles were distributed among various police stations and circle offices to enhance policing and improve response time. Officials said the addition of these vehicles will boost police patrolling in both urban and rural areas.“The induction of new vehicles will improve the operational efficiency of the police force and help ensure better law enforcement. The district administration is working to provide necessary resources to the police. Preparations are underway to install CCTV cameras at major intersections across the city before Durga Puja,” the DC said.SSP said the district police has also also received 45 motorcycles that will be used for patrolling and quick response operations. “Officers and drivers have been given proper instructions regarding the operation and maintenance of the vehicles to ensure their efficient use,” Kumar said. The SSP said improved mobility will enable the police to respond quickly to emergencies and provide timely assistance to citizens.SSP Prabhat also expressed hope that more vehicles may be allotted to Dhanbad police in the upcoming financial year, which will further strengthen the district’s policing system.
