Varanasi: A book exhibition commemorating the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri was inaugurated at BHU by vice-chancellor Prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi on Wednesday.Organised by Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Central Library, the exhibition is being held at the Cyber Library Study Centre on Central Library premises. It will remain open till Oct 6, from 10am to 5pm.The exhibition features a wide collection of books documenting the lives, works and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Several dissertations and theses focusing on their principles, ideas, life events and contributions are also being showcased. The display brings together published literature and academic research on the two national figures, offering students, researchers, faculty members and visitors an opportunity to explore their lives and thoughts from diverse perspectives.
