— Attachment Content: Garhwa_Feb_24.0.docx —Garhwa Feb 24—The body of a missing minor child was recovered on Tuesday from a field near the the deceased family’s house in Obra village under Bardiha police station limits of Garhwa district, one held, police said. The deceased was identified as Anurag Oraon (3) son of Jainendra Oraon. The police called a dog squad from the district headquarters which entered the house of a ward councillor Lalan Oraon. Police have taken the ward councillor of Obra panchayat ward no. 8 Lalan Oraon in custody for questioning. The villagers suspect that the child was killed for practising black magic, as there was no any family dispute with any villager in the village. Family sources said that the child was missing from Monday 4 pm after he went to buy Kurkure from a shop. Rishikesh Singh the officer in-charge of Bardiha police station said, “Mark of a leg was found near the deceased’s body. Police investigation is underway”, said the OC.
