Mumbai: BMC has completed repairs to compartment no. 2 of Yewai Master Balancing Reservoir at Pise-Panjrapur Complex and will commission it on Wednesday.Residents of Mumbai city, eastern suburbs and parts of Thane and Bhiwandi municipal corporations receiving BMC water have been advised to boil and filter drinking water for seven days. BMC said the precaution was necessary as water quality could change during commissioning.BMC has identified the following wards in the island city and eastern suburbs where citizens have been advised to take precautions: Naval Dockyard and BPT area in A Ward; all of B, E, F-South, F-North, M-East, and M-West wards; Mulund East and West in T Ward; Bhandup, Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vikhroli East in S Ward; Vikhroli and Ghatkopar East in N Ward; and Kurla East in L Ward.
